This Privacy Policy applies to the paid App Store and Mac App Store editions of Escape Saga: Room Escape for iOS and macOS (the "App"). The separate free, ad-supported Google Play edition of Escape Saga, which shares the package identifier com.a99h.escapecollection, does display advertising and is covered by its own privacy policy, not this one.
The Apple editions of Escape Saga collect no data at all. Their App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected".
None. The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information.
The App makes no network requests. It works fully offline.
The App saves your game progress - which puzzles you have solved and which of the five escape rooms you have unlocked - to a file in the App's own storage area on your device. This is the only data the App writes.
This file never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to any server and it is not readable by the developer or by anyone else. Deleting the App deletes it. Reinstalling the App starts you fresh.
The App contains no advertising software of any kind. There is no Google AdMob, no Google Mobile Ads SDK, no User Messaging Platform, and no other advertising, analytics, or attribution SDK. No third-party service receives any information about you or about your use of the App.
Escape Saga is a one-time paid purchase. There are no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. Your payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; the developer never sees your payment details.
Please note that the developer's separate free, ad-supported escape games have their own privacy policy, because those games do display advertisements. That policy does not apply to Escape Saga.
The App collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because nothing is ever collected, there is nothing to disclose, sell, or delete, and no parental consent request is needed. The App shows no advertisements and contains no links or purchase offers inside the game.
The App does not track you. It does not use the advertising identifier, does not build a profile of you, and does not share any information with data brokers or advertising networks. The App will never present Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, because it has nothing to ask for.
This policy may be updated if the App changes. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. If the App ever begins collecting data, this policy and the App Store privacy label will be updated before that version is released.
