This Privacy Policy applies to Canadian Citizenship Test (home-screen name "Citizenship", 中文名 "加拿大入籍考试" / "加拿大入籍考試"), identifier com.a99h.cacitizen, on the App Store and Google Play, developed by A99H Studio.
The app collects no personal data. Its App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected" and its Google Play Data safety section declares no data collected or shared.
The app saves your study progress (which questions you answered and whether you got them right, your mock-test scores) and your settings (language, appearance) in the app's own storage on your device. This information never leaves your device and is not readable by the developer. Deleting the app deletes it.
The app offers one optional, one-time in-app purchase that unlocks the full question bank. The purchase is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). The app asks the store only whether this purchase belongs to the current store account, so it can unlock the content and restore it on a new device. The developer never receives your name, payment details or store account information.
Apart from the store purchase check above, the app only goes online when you tap a link (for example to the official study guide on canada.ca), which opens that website in your browser.
The app is a study aid for adults preparing for the Canadian citizenship test. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Canadian Citizenship Test is an independent study app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or the Government of Canada. The official study guide is Discover Canada, free on canada.ca.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date, before an app version with different data practices is released.
